Frequently Asked Questions About NEET UG
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with minimum 50% marks for General (40% for SC/ST/OBC). Age: 17 years as on December 31, 2026.
There is no limit on the number of attempts. Candidates can appear for NEET as many times as they wish, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
General category needs 50th percentile (approx. 600-650 marks). SC/ST/OBC need 40th percentile. Cutoffs vary by college and category.
No, electronic devices including calculators are not allowed. Rough work should be done on the sheet provided by the invigilator.
